Ayurveda is an ancient science from India and Tibet that has been practiced for thousands of years. This unique treatment begins with a hot towel cleanse of the feet and calves. Followed by a reflexology treatment, kansa bowl treatment and finished with hot towels. The kansa bowl is a handmade metal “bowl” made from highly secretive blends of metals including bronze and pure silver. The family artisans that make these kansa bowls have been doing so for many years. Their metal bowls are prized for their unique ability to pull toxins from the body and restore balance on all levels. This is a highly unusual treatment that I learned from teachers steeped in Tibetan Ayurvedic techniques. 90 minutes.
This treatment is recommended for anyone in need of recuperation after extended periods of stress or any kind of trauma. Relaxing and rejuvenating on a physical and emotional/spiritual level. Ideally, the treatment is performed with the client face down with attention on the feet and calves.
Contra-indicated during a fever or early stages of cold or flu, during pregnancy or within 6 weeks after surgery. (After that, it is highly recommended).
